This is Why Dieting SUCKS & Will Never Get You REAL Results

You're my friend.

As your friend (and coach), it's my responsibility to help build you up, make you feel amazing about yourself, realize your potential.... all the feel good stuff.

And because I care deeply about you and your well being, it's also my job to expose you to all the BS information out there from scammy fitness people and teach you a BETTER, more sustainable, stress-free way of living a healthy lifestyle.

During my social media cleanse, I heard a few things loud and clear.

One of them is to SPEAK UP in ways that really matter. No more 'being vanilla' or 'trying to please everyone.' No more shying away from controversial topics when it comes to health and fitness (i.e. my thoughts on counting calories, hormones and birth control, etc.)

Because here's the thing: I am doing you a disservice if I don't help you sort through all the BS fitness and nutrition 'advice' out there...

Especially when it comes to DIETS.

Here's the thing: the fitness industry is a multi-billion dollar industry that profits from our insecurities.

So, what do most fitness/nutrition coaches do?

Market and try to sell you things based on your insecurities. They tell you you're not thin enough, pretty enough... you just need a DIET and then all of your problems with confidence/relationships/work/life will magically be fixed!!!! *rolls eyes so hard*

(P.S. I know from experience that losing weight doesn't make you any more confident. I was the LEAST confident at my thinnest size.)

So, for the love of kale & protein shakes.....

Can we all just agree that diets don't work?

Well... let's back up.

They may work for a short period of time: only eating veggies and fish, cabbage soup diet, "trends" that value aesthetics over actual health and are just diets in disguise *cough* tracking macros.

I'm sorry, but if you can't eat the way you're eating now FOREVER, it's only a matter of time until you break your diet, feel guilty, commit to starting again on Monday, eat clean all week, then repeat the weekend cheat.

Sound familiar?

I'm SOFA KING sick of hearing about women going on diet after diet. Looking for the next best golden nugget of a plan that's going to get them insane abs tomorrow.

As your friend and coach, I beg you to STOP running the hamster wheel of dieting.

Educate yourself and be patient enough to find a way of eating that works for you & your body, and is actually sustainable.

STOP searching for the next best thing or hiring coach after coach when your current (unsustainable) diet fails you yet again.

Moral of the story: ask yourself, "the way I'm eating now - can I sustain this forever?" And if you're glued to your phone calculating macros, or only eating chicken and veggies all day to cheat on the weekend - YOU ARE ON A DIET.

It's only once you break free from the hamster wheel of dieting that you experience what true freedom from food feels like.

But that starts with trusting YOU. No coach, diet, meal plan, macros can ever figure out the best solution for you.

Do the hard work now by educating yourself, creating light structure, and soon you'll be able to live free from stress surrounding food FOREVER.

Now that's something I'm down for. :)

If you need help creating light structure so you can finally experience food freedom FOR GOOD and make this a lifestyle, not a diet, my Challenge is literally PERFECT for you.

For the next 4 weeks, I'll be going into LOTS of depth surrounding food myths, the best ways to eat/reach your goals without counting calories, workouts sent to your inbox weekly that focus on building strength and confidence, and a Facebook group where we chat Live every week!

We start this Monday, Oct. 9 >> get yo booty in here.

Sending you loooots of love!

xoxo

Julie

I loved this challenge.

As someone who is starting out on my health and fitness journey, this was the perfect way to build on the basics and allowed me to challenge myself while also going at my own pace.

You clearly have a passion for helping people and that comes across very clearly by how reachable and available you were throughout the challenge! I look forward to future challenges!
